Health Information Management (HIM) department oversees the patient records as well as the scanning of patient records from other facilities that we refer patients out to or who are switching care to the Oyate Health Center.
Services
- Process faxed or mailed Release of Information (ROI) when accompanied with a signed authorization from patient/legal representative
- Assist patients who visit in person to access their records and receive copies
- Telephone ROI to outlying clinics or facilities with an authorized ROI.
- Fax ROI of patient medical referrals to outside facilities when indicated by Purchased Referred Care.
- Scan Protected Health Information (PHI) into patient charts when received by fax, mail or in person.
